EYEWEAR

The lenses you choose for your glasses can make a big difference in your life. Lenses have advanced in quality and technology over the years, and many specialist lenses are now available to suit different eyewear needs. We are proud to specialise in Seiko lenses, a high-quality manufacturer that you won’t find in just any high-street opticians.

Types of lenses available

Single vision lenses

These are lenses that have a single prescription for the whole lens and there are several different types available, including:
  • Seiko Smartzoom – designed to combat eye strain caused by long periods of looking at digital devices
  • Seiko A-Zone – thin, lightweight double-aspheric gives comfortable vision with astigmatism and power correction
  • Seiko AZ – minimises astigmatism, eliminates distortion and gives a larger field of view.

Progressive lenses

Also known as varifocals, if you need more than one prescription these lenses give you clear vision no matter what distance you are focussing at. If you need a different prescription for each eye, as many people do, then Seiko Prime or Brilliance lenses give you precision vision with lenses tailored for your needs.

Sunglasses and tinted lenses

Whether you choose specific sunglasses or tinted lenses in standard optical frames, we have an excellent range available. Polarised lenses are great for cutting out glare while providing higher contrast for richer colours.

If you prefer not to have separate sunglasses, photochromic lenses that darken in the sun are the ideal solution. With a smooth, quick transition from clear to tinted to clear again, Seiko Sensity lenses give you convenience, excellent performance and UV protection.

Driving glasses

As the sun goes down, driving gets that much harder. With the glare from lights and reflections, your eyes can get strained and your concentration compromised. Seiko Drive lenses eliminate glare and distortions, letting you see with greater clarity. Available in single vision and progressive.

Computer and indoor lenses

If you work at a desk or computer all day, give your eyes the best clarity of vision by choosing specialist lenses. Seiko Indoor lenses are available in PC, 100, and 200, each designed to have focussing zones that give you the best range of vision for your situation.

Tailored for you

Once you’ve chosen your lenses, we’ll take facial measurements that mean your glasses will be customised to give you ultra-sharp vision. While we specialise in Seiko, we understand that some people suit different lenses. Being independent means we can source any lenses you require. We have accounts with Shamir and Zeiss and can offer other manufacturers including Essilor, Nikon, Hoya, Maui Jim, Bollé, and others.

Request an appointment

If you already have an up-to-date prescription, we can help you select frames and lenses to suit your needs. If it’s been a while since your last eye exam, we advise you to make an appointment to ensure your prescription is current.
