Spectacle costs

The old adage ‘you get what you pay for’ is never truer than with spectacle prices. Similar looking frames can cost hundreds of pounds difference, please ask us what that difference is. If there is no advantage to you, don’t pay it! Similarly, and especially, lenses. Varifocal, or progressive lenses, for example, all claim to do the same job. However, the difference between a budget progressive and a bespoke premium design is huge- much easier adaptation, wearability, and field of view. Again, you may rely on us to help you select the most suitable design of lens for your requirements. Suffice to say we stock everything from budget to Premium, and we try to ensure that our prices are competitive in all areas when we compare like for like.

Some patients are entitled to help towards the costs of their glasses under the NHS, including most children. We will happily advise you.
