Who we are 
Amelia - optical assistant
Amelia is ‘our woman in Roehampton’. She knows everybody who pops in, and basically, keeps us all in line. Can crack walnuts with her bare hands, so, never fail an appointment ... 
Elizabeth - optical assistant
Elizabeth, Liz, or bafflingly, Zsa-Zsa, hails from the North West wilds of Lancashire. Like her namesake from Corrie, she too followed a career involving optics before coming to work with us. 29 years old, she's very smart, difficult to understand, but make strong tea, so it's mostly forgiven. 
Sandra - practice manager / dispenser
Sandra is our optical dispenser with many years of practice experience, including Harrods and the West End. General practice manager, if there’s a problem, she’s the first port of call. Has an unnatural fascination with designer handbags, and we suspect she may be morphing into Margaret Thatcher. Only 29.
 Rhian - contact lens optician / dispensing optician
Rhian is a highly qualified optician with a speciality in contact lenses. Drives and talks equally quickly with a lovely turn in Mezzo Soprano and likes Rugby players, fine dining, and foreign travel. So if you're a muscular, sporty, seven foot tall millionaire with a broken nose and cauliflower ears, apply within.
Natasha - assistant dispensing optician
Natasha is our assistant Dispensing Optician and is working steadily towards full qualification to add to her degree in Economics, a clever girl indeed. Has a penchant for muso-type boyfriends, wears weirdly-coloured clothing, likes photography and talking... a lot! 
Shalini - optometrist
Shalini is our full-time optometrist and hails from California, which I guess makes her a merrikan . She's a proper, grown-up, eye doctor and has worked in OR's and ER's, yet we've never seen her stethoscope. Say's 'Gee' and 'suck it up ' a lot. We love her! Unlike most of the staff, she's actually under 29. |

Dr Marcy Tong - optometrist
Marcy is another part-timer (hey, aren't they all!) with many years experience, despite only being 29 years old. Far too good for us, frankly, and we're lucky to have her.
 Cressida - optometrist
Cressy is, without doubt, the best dressed part-time optometrist that we’ve ever had. Although only 4’9” tall, punches way above her weight and height. Married to an incredibly handsome practice owner, lucky girl. Only 29. 
Paul - practice owner / contact lens optician
Only 29, he came to optics young, and set Focalpoint up 22 years ago, aged 6. Over 6’6” tall, he bears an uncanny resemblance to Keanu Reeves, with just a smattering of Steve McQueen. Rides motorcycles, and plays rubbishy golf. Married to a very lucky girl, Cressida. These are the personal views of the author, who may, or may not, be one of the above named staff. You’ll never know. Now, where’s my 5 iron... Staff Uniforms We are considering official staff uniforms to give us that ‘corporate look’. These are the most likely contenders, and we’d appreciate your thoughts.
